CMPS is seeking candidates to fill the President-elect position and two Member At-large positions (see below for position descriptions). All positions are 2-year terms. Nominations are due by June 1, 2023.

Please strongly consider serving at the Section level for TWS.
PRESIDENT-ELECT. The President-Elect shall assist the President in administration of Section affairs and shall perform any duties assigned by the President. The President-Elect shall chair the Mission and Strategic Plan Review Committee.
MEMBERS AT-LARGE. Members At-large shall assist in the general administration of Section business affairs.

We are excited to announce that we will be working with the Colorado Chapter of the Wildlife Society to host a joint annual meeting in Grand Junction, Colorado, at the Grand Junction Convention Center.
This in-person event theme is “Tails and Trails: Wildlife-Human Dynamics in the Changing West”. At the 2023 annual meeting for CCTTWS and UTTWS, our plenary session will address the challenges and opportunities of recreation and wildlife-human dynamics agains the backdrop of a changing west and drought fueled climate change. In addition, we will offer workshopes, IGNITE Sessions, a poster session, photo contest, a contributed papers session, a networking event, a student and professional networking breakfast, and our annual banquet with professional awards and an auction. Be sure to SAVE THE DATES and look for updates on lodging and registration details in the upcoming newsletter and on our webpage.

We're Going Virtual
We're making our annual meeting even easier to attend! With the recent COVID surge, the 2022 annual meeting will now take place online. As disappointed as we are to not be meeting in person yet again, we have already begun planning a virtual experience you will not want to miss. There will be games, giveaways, breakout sessions and more! Details to come.
