2023 Joint Utah/Colorado Chapter meeting
In 2023 we worked together with the Colorado Chapter of the Wildlife Society to host a joint annual meeting in Grand Junction, Colorado, at the Grand Junction Convention Center.
This theme for this event was “Tails and Trails: Wildlife-Human Dynamics in the Changing West”. At the 2023 annual meeting for CCTTWS and UTTWS, our plenary session addressed the challenges and opportunities of recreation and wildlife-human dynamics against the backdrop of a changing west and drought fueled climate change. In addition, we offered workshops, IGNITE Sessions, a poster session, photo contest, a contributed papers session, a networking event, a student and professional networking breakfast, and our annual banquet with professional awards and an auction.
