UTLA School Counselor advocates for a secondary school counseling caseload of 250 students to 1 secondary school counselor. Once exceed 100% of the caseload, the school will be allocated 1 extra counselor. Schools will be allocated an extra counselor per 100% exceeding.

500:2 (250:1 with 100% exceed)
750:3 (250:1 with 200% exceed)
