UTLA School Counselor Is an official Standing Committee of the United Teachers Los Angeles union.
The purpose of the UTLA School Counselor Standing Committee is to:
Keep our members informed of current trends in the school counseling that affects students and secondary school counselors
Provide support and resources to secondary school counselors
Advocate for the rights, needs and concerns of Secondary School Counselors
Advocate for the integrity of the secondary school counselor’s role
