Option 2: Create an online lesson that families can use at home

You have quite a bit of freedom in how you do this. You can do this collaboratively with your partner (i.e., together, you create one lesson) or you can work separately and create two different lessons.

Here are some examples of what others are doing right now:

• A lesson I created on Building a Flower Bed
  • One thing that I'd like you to include from this lesson is showing at least 3 different ways that students might solve the task as part of the materials that you provide.
• Exponential Growth - A lesson that is accessible for all ages and shows how to make a lesson interactive without video.
• Math at home - Includes daily activities by grade level
• Virtual Math Festival 2020 - Video examples
• Youcubed at Home - A mix of video and non-video based activities/lessons

You can create your online lesson on any medium that you choose (e.g., YouTube, a website, etc.). Google sites is particularly user friendly, so if you are new to creating a website, I recommend that you start there. If you are having trouble, reach out to me as I have experience in this area. Once you are finished, share your online lesson with me on google classroom.

Option 3: Facilitate your lesson with a person or people in your household - any age is ok!
