The Math 123 Final Exam is on Tuesday, May 12, at 8:00 am.
Exam distribution begins at 8:00 am. Students may begin working on the exam once the exams have been distributed to all students and the room manager says that students may begin working.
Students will have two hours (120 minutes) to complete their exam. They may leave as they finish.
Students must bring a photo ID (or Volcard) to the exam.
No scratch paper is allowed.
The formulas are provided on the exam cover page. (See below for a sample cover page so you know what to expect.)
Only a TI-30XIIS calculator is allowed. (No other calculators are permitted.)
Cell phones and other electronic devices (headphones, tablets, etc.) must be silenced and put away.
The final exam has 25 points per unit for a total of 100 points. The four units go in order on the exam (although the questions are not necessarily in order within each unit).
The exam consists of multiple-choice, true/false, and free-response questions.
The multiple-choice and true/false questions will have bubbles that must be filled in completely.
Free-response questions will have space to show work and a final answer box.
Exam review materials are posted on the Review page of the Math 123 Student Hub.

During the final exam, you must adhere to the following:
Cell phones and other internet-capable devices must be silenced and put away. You may only access these devices after turning in your exam. No notes or resources (other than the provided formula sheet) are allowed.
Other than those worn for medical or religious reasons, articles of clothing that obstruct the view of your face must be adjusted or removed. For example, baseball hats must be turned around or removed.
Wristwear that is not jewelry, such as watches and fitness trackers, must be removed and put away. We reserve the right to ask you to remove what may be perceived as jewelry items if we have any doubt as to the nature of the item. Any devices, including digital watches, used to record, transmit, receive, or play back audio, photographic, text, or video content must be removed and put away. Students wearing medically necessary wristwear must notify the instructor before the exam or quiz. The instructor may require the student to provide documentation to verify the medical necessity before the exam.
Only a TI-30XIIS calculator may be used, and it should be visible during use (not in your lap below the writing surface). No other type of calculator is allowed, and you may not share calculators.
If you bring another calculator model to the exam, you must put it away. If you do not have the required model, you must complete the exam without a calculator.
An instructor may ask you to move to a different seat during the exam. If so instructed, you are expected to comply swiftly and quietly. Being asked to move does not imply that a violation of the honor code has been committed.
