Q1: I have always attended my classes but my name appear on the bar list. What should I do?
A1: Please contact your respective lecturer and tutor of the particular course to check the attendance, and then, write a formal letter to explain your situation by providing supporting documents to the respective lecturer and tutor.
Q2: If I do not have / am unable to view my examination authorisation slip, what should I do?
A2: Please contact the Division of Examinations, Awards and Scholarship (Kampar Campus).
Q3: If one or more courses do not appear in the examination authorisation slip, what should I do?
A3: Please contact the FGO for further assistance.
Q4: If I am unable to sit for the final examination / assessment due to unforeseen circumstances, what should I do?
A4: You may apply for the replacement examination by filling in the Special Consideration of Assessment form, attach all the relevant supporting documents such as MC etc. then submit all these documents to the FGO within three (3) working days from the date of the final examination / assessment that particular course(s).
Q5: Will I be notify by the Faculty on the result of my application for the replacement examination?
A5: Yes, the FGO staff members will contact you on the decision of your application either via phone calls or e-mail.
Q6: If I could not attend the replacement exam of a course which have been approved by the University, can I apply for another replacement examination of the same course?
A6: No, the approval for the application of the replacement examination is only granted once in which you cannot re-apply for another replacement examination of the same course under whatever circumstances.
Q7: I have been terminated by the University, can I make an appeal against the termination of my study?
A7: Yes, you may do so via online within three (3) working days from the date of the result was released.
Q8: I not satisfied with my last trimester result, I wish to appeal. Where can I apply?
A8: Students who are not satisfied with the grade of an examination may appeal for review of examination course(s) results by submitting the application through UTAR Portal under Examination menu.
Q9: I am student under termination and I wish to appeal against termination. Where can I apply?
A9: Students who has been terminated from their programme of studies and would like to appeal against termination can do so by submitting the application through UTAR Portal under Examination menu.
