🎶 Welcome to Independent Music Studies! 🎶
Hey musicians! Whether you’re a singer, a shredder, a beat maker, or a beginner—I'm so excited to have you in this class. If you’re here, that means you’re ready to take your music to the next level through private lessons—and I’m here to help you succeed every step of the way!
Tell me who your private teacher is!
Submit their name, email, and phone number in the first assignment in Canvas.
🎓 If you don’t have a private teacher yet, no worries—just contact me so we can create a plan that works for you!
Talk to your teacher about this class.
Before you get started, make sure your teacher knows what this course is about and what you'll need to do. I’ll send them a Google Form with all the details about your semester plan.
Track your practice time.
You’ll need to practice at least 30 minutes a day, 5 days a week—that’s 150 minutes per week, and a total of 1,050 minutes for the whole semester.
đź“… Every Friday, submit your weekly minutes in Canvas!
Submit two videos of you performing!
One at Midterm, and one at Finals. Show off what you’ve been working on! Instructions for submitting videos are in Canvas.
Your teacher will give feedback at the end.
They’ll fill out a final Google Form to let me know how you're doing and how much you’ve grown!
