Systemic Treatments

Systemic treatments are identified statewide by the Traffic & Safety Division. These treatments enable the department to improve safety in the locations where a fatal or serious injury crash is most likely to occur. Currently a Roadway/Lane Departure systemic story map is available. Please click the link below to review the story map and information about rumble strips, horizontal curve mitigtations, raised medians, median barrier, and enhanced pavement friction treatments (EPFT). In the future we expect to also have an Intersection systemic story map.
