Benjamin Wood
Benjamin Wood is a lifelong Utahn and journalist based out of Salt Lake City. He volunteers as a board member for Sweet Streets, a local, people-first city planning advocacy organization. Sweet Streets believes public spaces that focus on people—not cars—and that welcome all users are essential to a society and economy that is more connected, equitable and sustainable. The group successfully pushed the Salt Lake City Council to lower the city's default residential speed limit to 20 mph and continues to organize campaigns around pedestrian and cyclist safety, transit access and appeal, and the investment in and preservation of public spaces.
