UDOT's Pavement Program is currently funded at $250 million a year. Of that total, $160 million is dedicated to maintaining pavement condition on high volume routes, $40 million is dedicated to improving pavement condition on low volume routes, and $50 million is dedicated to the reconstruction program. The Pavement Working Group (PWG) makes recommendations based on the Statewide dTIMS analysis for the high volume and low volume allocations by region. The PWG works collaboratively to identify reconstruction projects to propose to the transportation commission for funding approval.
Please see the Reconstruction Program page for more information on proposed projects.
