Fields 4 Valor

Fields 4 Valor is a non-profit farm located in Brandywine, MD and founded by veteran Pete Scott. Pete grows and distributes produce at no charge to veterans and Gold Star families (families who have lost a loved one in the line of duty).

Typical Saturday:

• Meet on-site volunteer leaders (Meeting location: Maplewood Alta Vista Park 5209 Alta Vista Rd, Bethesda, MD 20814 at 12:30pm)

• Pick up 4-5 coolers of produce

• Deliver produce to 4-5 pre-assigned homes/shelters in the area

• Return the coolers to Victor or Crystal before the next weekend

• The entire volunteering event should be around 2-3 hours of your time. You will need a car (or a friend with a car) to help with this opportunity.
