Recently, I got the chance to be included in the 9th batch of SEAMEO's SEA Teacher Exchange Program and was received by the partner institution, Valaya Alongkorn Rajabhat University (VRU), which is located in Pathum Thani, Thailand. The exchange program started last August 30 until September 20. Before I left for this exchange program, I was already having my experience as a Pre-Service Teacher at UST Education High School, where I was teaching Mathematics for Grade 8 students.Â
During my 2nd and 3rd year in college, I am a writer in our university's official student publication, which is called The Varsitarian. I experienced being a writer in the Filipino section and as well as in the Science and Technology section of the said publication.
The teaching profession was really not my first choice when I went to college as this is not the first program that I took. However, with some realizations, I was able to see how I'm destined to be in this program and hopefully in this profession in the future.
