On October 9, 1960, the initial efforts of Br. Francis Cody FSC to gather the Negros- based La Salle graduates from La Salle College-Bacolod and De La Salle-Taft resulted in the organization of a joint Alumni Association here in Bacolod. Under the presidency of Alumni presidents Ramiro Garcia and Donato Poblador, the association was strengthened and was duly registered as La Salle Bacolod Alumni Association,Inc. When La Salle College-Bacolod gained University status in 1988, the association changed its name to the University of St. La Salle Alumni Association ·Bacolod, Inc. (USLSAA) in 1997.
The University of St. La Salle Alumni Association recognizes its membership and role in the Lasallian Family. Sharing the same spirit of faith and zeal, the Association is committed to organize programs that promote the growth and welfare of 'its members, and inspire them to live out the Christian and Lasallian ideals. As an empowered partner of its Alma Mater, theassociation provides opportunities designed to nurture the Lasallian spirit of school loyalty and involvement that will inspire its members to actively support and participates in the development efforts of their Alma Mater.
