Many students with vision impairments are not included in sports, recreation and fitness as much as they can be because of a lack of understanding about accommodations. Camp Abilities Utah wants to change that! We want to educate students with vision impairments how to gracefully advocate for their accommodations. It starts with understanding what accommodations are and then how to advocate. Request your copy of our I Can Play Accommodations Support materials. There is a step-by-step guide to accommodations and a worksheet to help you identify your preferences and accommodations needs. The worksheet will help you communicate your needs. Remember, you can play!
