Last Day in Kumasi (THURS 3/16)

This was our last day in Kumasi, we packed up our bags and headed for KASS to meet with the headmaster and other administrators one final time.  Chidi and I decided to wear our Ghanaian outfits for this occasion.  We got to say goodbye to a few of the students that we had been able to work with, it was a bittersweet moment because we felt like there was still so much we would like to learn from and to share with these dedicated scholars and teachers.

At the airport we said our goodbyes to Ray and made promises to keep in touch and stay connected.  We were happy to meet up with two other TGC teachers who were also flying out of the Kumasi airport and share stories with them.

Back in Accra, the rest of the day was really fun, grabbing some lunch and shopping with other teachers who were returning from their host schools as well.  We were all reunited by dinner, and it was just amazing to share stories and photos from host schools around the country.
