Professional Learning Opportunities

This year, we are focusing on Question 1 of the PLC model: What do we want all students to learn?  When we think about learning, we not only consider our individual classrooms, but also the students coming to us from and those we are sending forward to our colleagues.  Answering this question asks us to look within ourselves and in partnership with our colleagues to develop alignment.

On September 30, 2024, general education teachers will develop clarity around instructional priorities.  In grade band and content groups, we will review priority standards, define mastery of standards, and develop learning progressions.  This will prepare us for the content organization work that we will start in November and utilize moving forward.

Special Education teachers will focus on the instructional side of Question 1 by engaging with Specially Designed Instruction.
