On November 25, we will continue the important clarity-building work from September 30.  General education teachers will transition from identifying Mastery 10 standards to organizing learning at the PLC level.

Special Education teachers and school psychologists will continue Greenbush's instructional design series during the second day of Specially Designed Instruction.

Kindergarten - 5th Grade Teachers, Interventionists, and Counselors

• Location: Washburn Rural High School

• Time: 8:00-11:15 am

  • All groups will begin in the WRHS Auditorium at 8:00.

• Activity: Mastery 10 and Instructional Organizing for Math Standards

  • Groups will break out beginning at 8:30 in the following locations:

    • Group Locations

Teachers will engage with building professional learning in the afternoon.  

Building plans will be communicated by PDC Members.

6th Grade - High School ELA, Math, Science, SFA, Social Studies, and World Language Teachers; Middle-level CTE Teachers, Interventionists, and Counselors

• Location: Washburn Rural High School

• Time: 8:00-11:15 am

  • All groups will begin in the WRHS Auditorium at 8:00.

• Activity: Mastery 10 and Instructional Organizing within departmental standards

  • Groups will break out beginning at 8:30 in the following locations:

    • Group Locations

  • Sixth grade teachers should select groups based on their communicated 2024-2025 WRMS/WRN teaching assignments.

Teachers will engage with building professional learning in the afternoon.  Sixth grade teachers will participate with their current schools during the afternoon.

Building plans will be communicated by PDC Members.

K-12 Art, EL, Library Media, Music, and Physical Education Teachers

• Location: Washburn Rural High School

• Time: 8:00 am-4:00 pm

  • All groups will begin in the WRHS Auditorium at 8:00.

• Activity: Mastery 10 and Instructional Organizing within departmental standards

  • Groups will break out beginning at 8:30 in the following locations:

    • Group Locations

  • Sixth grade teachers should select groups based on their communicated 2024-2025 WRMS/WRN teaching assignments.

Dean-area teachers will engage with dean-area colleagues during the afternoon in the published locations.

• Groups: Early Childhood, Elementary, Secondary, Tallgrass, Pathways

• Location: Jay Shideler Gymnasium

• Time: 8:00 am - 4:00 pm

• Activity: Specially Designed Instruction, Day 2
