The game is meant to be a fun experience that is not to serious. Is based around a collision of worlds together which is why they're are many different characters with seemingly no correlation. Each character is meant to have a corresponding map and vice versa meaning as to show each part of the characters original world. With each world there is a boss themed around the characters and how they ended up in the dimensional situation.
The original plan for the game was a lot more than I originally thought it would be. I had to cut a lot of corners in certain areas in order to make sure I had a working product and at least a little something in every area. I wasn't able to implement any sounds into the game because they would take a lot of time to create and I didn't really have any to spare towards to end where things started getting more rushed. I also had a working health bar at the beginning, but it doesn't work anymore now that I check it and there is no time to fix it. I wanted to add more abilities to each character with each having an ultimate that would need to charge up. I had lots of ideas for maps and other concepts which had to be put off in order to make time for more important parts first. I got most of what I wanted accomplished and was still able to make something playable at the very least within the given timeframe.
