Welcome to the Washburn Rural High School Game Design Student Showcase! This website features games created by students throughout the school year in our Game Design course.
During the fall semester, students learn the fundamentals of game development in Unity while creating game design documents, developing characters and assets, exploring game mechanics, and planning their own game. During the spring semester, students put those skills into practice as they spend the semester designing, developing, testing, and refining their own game in Unity.
Students choose to create either a 2D or 3D game, giving them the opportunity to explore different styles, mechanics, and creative ideas.
