Hi! My name is Mrs. Schlessiger, formally Miss Foos. Originally, I am from Ness City, KS. Now, I live in the country with my husband James, our dog Gertie, and our cat Opal. We have chickens and a small garden!

I attended Emporia State University, where I earned my Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education. This is my first year teaching sixth grade. Previously, I have taught third and fourth grade. I also have experience student teaching in second and fifth grade. I am looking forward to starting my fourth year at Ellinwood Grade School!
