Sound Clip

To begin the audio clip project, I downloaded a clip from the Creative Commons website called "The Moment" by eddy. (The provided links did not take me to websites with audio.) After importing this clip into Audacity, I recorded myself reading the synopsis of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone. I moved the recording of my voice to align with a section close to the end of the music clip, as the music is a little more intense at the end and had a big finish that I was looking for to end my recording. I trimmed the rest of the music clip as well as trimmed out about 1.5 seconds of silence that I had in my voice recording. Next, I reduced the volume of the music and increased the volume of my voice. Finally, I set the music to fade in and out. I plan to use this clip to post on our school LMS to inspire students to read this book!
