In order to create this model rocket, we created 3 separate body tubes with transitions in between. Then we implemented a parachute so that when each portion of the rocket detaches, it would slowly descend instead of crashing the ground at high speeds which is extremely dangerous at the height the rocket achieves. Next, we strategically used different types of engines in each body tube. We put the engine with the most thrust on the bottom so that it will easily propel the rocket from the ground. Then, we used longer lasting engines for the last two stages so that the engines will cause the rocket to ascend to high altitudes to drop the carbon dioxide capturing device and then slowly descend to the ground. After loading the engines, we created fins that will effectively cause the center of pressure to be below the center of gravity thus making our rocket stable.
