I graduated in Biology from the Autonomous University of Madrid (2023). During my bachelor´s thesis, I worked with Prof. Teresa Suárez González, the head of the 3D Laboratory: Development, Differentiation and Degeneration, from the CIB, CSIC (Madrid) and I studied the use of silicon microdevices to measure cellular parameters.
I continued my studies with the Master´s Degree in Cellular and Mollecular Pharmacology and Phisiopathology at the University of Salamanca, completing my studies with my TFM titled “Characterization of cell models treated with kinase inhibitors of interest in glioblastoma”, directed by Dr. Maruan Hijazi Vega.
Now, I am pursuing my PhD in Neurosciences in the Laboratory of Signal Transduction and proteomics, led by Dr. Maruan Hijazi Vega, which belongs to the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, and the Institute of Neurosciences of Castilla y León (INCyL). In my thesis I will continue the work started in my TFM and I will study the characteristics of glioblastoma stem cells and the mechanisms of vulnerability to treatment.
