For students who feel unsafe walking around campus at night, you can request a Rhody SafeRide with the TransLoc app. The shuttle can transport you anywhere on the Kingston Campus, Emporium, and to/from the Kingston Train Station. 

After logging in with the URI Single Sign On credentials, set up a username and select the "OnDemand" option on the lower menu bar, scroll to find URI and request a ride!

Services are available during the Monday-Friday from 5:30pm-1:00am and the weekend from 6:00pm-1:00am. 

If you need a ride outside of these hours call 401.874.SAFE. After-hours will most likely be conducted as a Rhody SafeWalk. This means a URI Security or URI Police Officer will escort you by foot or in a vehicle to your destination. 

URI Police and Security are not a part of Rhody SafeRides during service hours.
