This UNESCO World Heritage Site has been in operation since the 13th century and is famous for its intricate salt sculptures, underground lakes, and St Kinga's Chapel, where even the chandeliers are made of salt.
Visit to the Kraków Christmas Market
The Krakow Christmas market is concentrated in and around the city's main square. In Polish, the main square is called ‘Rynek Główny’. The Krakow Christmas market is one of the most idyllic settings imaginable for a Christmas market.
Krakow's main square is HUGE! It is one of the largest medieval squares in Europe, and among all the Christmas market stalls stands the beautiful St. Mary's Basilica with its twin towers. In the centre of the square is the Cloth Hall. In Polish, the Cloth Hall is called Sukiennice. Krakow's Cloth Hall is THE place to go for souvenirs all year round, and the Christmas season is no exception.
