Free Meals Ending in 2022-2023
When the 2021-2022 school year ended, so did free meals for every student. While the federal government funded a program that allowed all students access to free meals during the COVID-19 pandemic, Congress declined to continue funding this program. This means all families will need to carry a positive balance in their children’s school meal accounts when school begins next fall. Meals served during summer are still free to children 18 and younger.
Meal Payments
Funds can be loaded onto student accounts electronically through TITAN, or by bringing cash or check to your student's building. For more information on meal pricing, and how to build a complete meal, please check our menus and prices page.

Celebrating National School Breakfast Week and Read Across America
UCSD Nutrition Services celebrated National School Breakfast Week and Read Across America February 28th - March 4th. Students who ate school breakfast were entered into a raffle with every meal counting as a ticket! Each elementary school was given three prize bundles for students to win. One of the prizes was a cookbook based on the story of Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs. Congratulations to these lucky winners; we hope they'll have a blast create these fun recipes!
