University governance relies on the collective work of faculty members who contribute their time and expertise to councils, task forces, and committees. Jaderick has consistently taken part in such service, both within the University of the Philippines Los Baños (UPLB) and, during his period of affiliation, in another constituent university of the UP System, the UP Open University (UPOU). He has also once been entrusted with committee work at the UP System level. His appointments were formally recognized through official memoranda and covered specific terms of service.
