Dear Colleagues and Friends,

Finally, the long wait will be over! On behalf of the Organizing Committee, it is a pleasure for me to welcome you to the Philippines! 

The Congress will provide an opportunity for the presentation of current research and other related topics with special focus on Auchenorrhynchous insect group. It will bring together scientists from academic institutions and industry and promoting professional interactions between them. Furthermore, the Congress has also included a one-day field tour to the famous Mt. Makiling Forest Reserve, UP Los Baños, and other nearby attractions. 

In this, the Organizing Committee would be very delighted if we could reach a record number of abstracts and participants, to guarantee a high-quality technical program.  It is hoped that during the Congress fruitful interactions among participants and collaborations will be built for the positive development of the Congress and for the intellectual growth of all the participants.
