Conclusion
Nurturing future leaders is a vital role of the church, and the Youth Leaders’ Training Program at Bicol Presbyterian Joy Church effectively fulfills this mission. Through its structured approach, the program equips young individuals with a Christian worldview and essential leadership skills, empowering them to serve both within the church and their wider communities.
To ensure the program’s continuous growth, effective instructional design plays a crucial role. Strengthening the connection between trainees and teaching materials fosters deeper learning and encourages active participation.
Through the ADDIE model, the author determined the program’s most immediate need and develop and implement the material to address it. The Filipino version of the learning materials proved to be beneficial in ensuring that the training process would yield favorable outcomes both in the side of the trainers and the trainees.
Recommendations
To make Filipino versions of the learning materials for the rest of the parts of the training program.
To carefully identify trainees who can be more effective learners if the material is in Filipino and trainees who are more effective if the material is in English and make this a major factor when separating them into classes.
Maintain a regular feedback collection to assess the program’s effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
