WELCOME

Hello everyone! Welcome to my ePortfolio for the EDS 199 Special Project.

My name is Arlene B. Narido, and I am from Legazpi City, Albay, in the Bicol Region. I am a wife and a full-time church worker assigned to our school ministry. Since 2015, I have been enrolled in the Bachelor of Education Studies program (BES). Due to my work schedule, I have been taking courses at a slow pace.

The University of the Philippines Open University (UPOU) has been a dream come true for me, as I was searching for a distance education program that would accommodate my work commitments. My journey has not been easy; because of my demanding schedule, I managed to complete only a few units each term. Nevertheless, I hope to graduate soon.

This page will showcase my journey in developing and enhancing the instructional materials for the Youth Leaders’ Training program at Bicol Presbyterian Joy Church.

I am grateful to all those who have supported me in this journey, especially Prof. Ley Gripal for his guidance and patience, and to God for granting me wisdom. I would also like to express my sincere appreciation to my husband, who has been my pillar of strength and encouragement throughout this journey. To Bicol Presbyterian Joy Church, which allowed me to turn my SP into a reality, thank you so much. I am deeply thankful for the opportunities that have come my way, allowing me to grow, learn, and refine my skills. To my colleagues and peers, your collaboration and shared experiences have enriched my understanding and made this path even more fulfilling. Above all, I am humbled by the lessons I have learned, the challenges I have overcome, and the incredible people who have walked alongside me. This journey would not have been possible without each and every one of you.
