One of your primary responsibilities as members of the CIMRC is to maintain the standards of conducting University events, as well as oversee the observance of its protocols. This role is crucial not only to enhance the University's credibility, identity, and professionalism, but also to maintain because such events allow the University to contribute to society as a whole.
This component contains various types of learning materials (e.g., modules, slide presentations, and audiovisual materials) that would provide participants with an understanding of the following: 1) definition of events management; 2) classification of University events; 3) choosing event themes; 4) different event committees; 5) implementation of events; 6) protocols in conducting events; and 7) event evaluation.
At the end of the course, the participants are expected to:
Describe what an event is, as well as its purpose;
Identify different types of UPLB events;
Discuss the roles of the events management team and its members; and
Explain how UPLB events are implemented and evaluated.
