In our research for our podcast we thought it would be helpful to listeners if they were able to picture some of the people we were speaking about. It is important to bring these historical people to life, and having a visual of them can be helpful in putting these figures in human contexts. To help listeners get a visual in their mind of the people we were talking about we used modern celebrities as they are well known faces people can build on in their imagination.
