The CSFRG group lead, Associate Professor (Dr) Sheeba Armoogum, was one of the Keynote speakers for the Economic Crime Prevention Conference 2023 on the 12th July 2023.

The following CSFRG members who are also students of the Bachelor of Applied Science in Cyber Operations with an emphasis in Defense/Forensics by the University of Arizona - University of Mauritius, were allowed to attend the Economic Crime Prevention Conference 2023  for two days, 12th & 13th July 2023 @ Le Meridian Hotel, Pointe aux Piments, Mauritius:

Based on the above six students' communication skills and involvement during the two days of the conference, all six students received the following additional opportunities:

1:  Free training to follow the "NCSP® Awareness Certificate (Digital Transformation, Understanding Cyber risks, NIST Cybersecurity Framework Fundamentals, etc.)  offered by Steven Cockcroft, Managing Director – CYSEC, UK.

2: Anthony Flemmer, CEO of Defense Logic, UK, offers a free training program for penetration testing and SIEM (Graylog).
