My academic journey began with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB), which laid the foundation for my medical career. I then pursued a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Microbiology, where I developed a keen interest in the intricacies of infectious diseases. This was followed by a PhD in Medical Microbiology, during which I focused on the clinical and molecular characterization of Mycobacterium tuberculosis strains. My formal education has equipped me with the skills and knowledge necessary to tackle complex health challenges.

Teaching and Research

As a Professor of Infectious Disease at the University of Duhok, I am passionate about teaching and mentoring students. I strive to create an engaging and inclusive classroom environment where students can thrive.
