My research passion lies in the fields of Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering, with a particular focus on integrating CAD/CAM systems, finite element analysis (FEA), and forging process optimization. I have dedicated much of my academic career to advancing these fields, exploring innovative approaches to improve design accuracy, manufacturing efficiency, and mechanical performance.
In addition to my engineering research, I have actively explored:
Institutional Research and Organisational Effectiveness, focusing on enhancing decision-making processes and operational efficiency within higher education institutions.
Higher Education Policymaking, developing strategies to improve curriculum design, quality assurance frameworks, and academic performance standards.
Education Quality Assurance using information systems and data mining techniques.
Pharmaceutical Industry Engineering through the design and development of pilot plant equipment.
Business Intelligence in Higher Education, exploring agile methodologies and data-driven decision-making.
I am actively involved in several research projects that align with my key expertise. My ongoing work includes:
Developing customized CAD systems for closed die forging design to enhance manufacturing precision.
Exploring digital transformation solutions for improving higher education quality assurance frameworks.
Investigating engineering management models to optimize resource allocation and streamline decision-making processes in academic institutions.
Conducting research in Institutional Research to develop data-driven strategies for improving organizational performance in higher education.
Engaging in Higher Education Policy Development to enhance institutional governance and academic standards.
Through these projects, I aim to contribute practical solutions that address both industrial and educational challenges.
Over the years, I have published numerous articles in international journals and presented my work at prestigious conferences. Some highlights include:
Journal Papers:
Finite Element Simulation of the Non-Steady State of Metal Forming Processes — Journal of Materials Processing Technology, 1993.

Collaboration has been a cornerstone of my research journey. Working closely with scholars such as Prof. Saleem Hashmi, I have explored various aspects of CAD/CAM integration, metal forming simulations, and customized design automation. Additionally, I have partnered with researchers in education technology, business intelligence, and pharmaceutical engineering to expand the impact of my work.
I remain open to collaborative opportunities with fellow researchers and institutions worldwide, particularly in areas where engineering innovations can create tangible societal benefits.
I have had the privilege of supervising numerous postgraduate students in mechanical engineering and related fields. I am committed to guiding students through their research journey, helping them explore innovative ideas, and ensuring they develop the skills needed to excel in academia and industry.
I invite students interested in CAD/CAM integration, FEA-based simulations, manufacturing process design, Institutional Research, and Higher Education Policy Development to connect with me for potential supervision and mentorship.
I welcome inquiries from researchers, students, and industry professionals interested in collaboration, knowledge sharing, or joint research initiatives. Please feel free to reach out to discuss potential projects or explore areas of mutual interest.
