· Scholarship from UGC for Higher Studies -2014 to complete the PhD at the Faculty of Graduate Studies. University of Jaffna, since 2011 to 2014.

· University research grant for the research title ‘Exploring the models for linking micro marketers and the Management faculty” in 2016 October.

· University Prize for the Best Solution Oriented Thesis Award -2016 (University Level) : received for the Undergraduate Research supervision on “Branding problems of Jaffna Made Products: A Multiple case studies of Manufactures in Jaffna District, under the University Business Linkage Initiative Program, University of Jaffna, (Approved by University Grants Commission Circular No: 10/2016 of 25th of July 2016& 4 /2016 of 1st March 2016), on 9th September 2016.

· Best paper research award received for the paper presentation on the titled” Reasons for low sales of Nutri plus of Nutri range Product line in CBL food Pvt: An applied Marketing Research, at the 7th International Conference on Social science for sustaining business and economy in Global market, which was held in Sairam Institute of Management Studies, India, on 21st and 22nd of September 2017.

· Best paper research award received for the paper presentation on the titled” Exploring the meaning of Green Packaging on consumer view point, at the 7th International Conference on Social science for sustaining business and economy in Global market, which was held in Sairam Institute of Management Studies, India, on 21st and 22nd of September 2017.

· Mr.A Velupillai memorial prize for the best student offering marketing as a subject in the degree of Bachelor of Commerce examination (specialization in marketing )1999/2000.
