Housing Justice

I am active in housing advocacy in Tigard. I am familiar with compliance processes related to building code violations in Tigard and Washington County. I have existing relationships with Community Partners for Affordable Housing (CPAH) who provides most of the housing in Tigard, as well familiarity with other area non-profit housing providers. I am somewhat familiar with County Housing programs and their Consolidated Plan (which addresses Homelessness and Public Housing). I also have working knowledge of the relationships between federal and state housing agencies and how local agencies implement on the ground.

One of my main priorities. have experience working w unhoused folx, am currently working to organize tenants in my 240+ unit complex.

I'm very interested on Equitable Economic Development and the closely related issues of Housing Justice, and many other Social Determinants of Health (SDoH) ** Very difficult to separate one area of interest from another when they are all related.
