Rebel Pride is the positive behavior program in our school. Positive behavior expectations are district-wide and will be taught, visible, and reinforced to help our students succeed

USC's Anti-Bullying Pledge

  • We will not bully others

  • We will help students who are bullied

  • we will include students who are left out

  • We will tell an adult at school, and an adult at home if we know that somebody is being bullied

What is P.B.I.S.?

It is a broad range of strategies for all students to achieve important social and learning outcomes while discouraging problem behaviors.

Major Components

  • A common approach to discipline

  • Positively stated expectations for all students

  • Expectations are taught to students

  • Procedures are in place for reinforcing these expectations

  • Monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of the discipline system on a regular basis

Bully Definition

  1. Bullying is aggressive behavior that involves unwanted, negative actions

  2. Bullying involves a pattern of behavior repeated over time

  3. Bullying involves an imbalance of power
