Ms. Lombardi

Welcome to Evans! My name is Ms. Lombardi, and I am the ELA teacher for Team 6B. This is my first year teaching, and I am incredibly excited to begin this journey with you! I earned my undergraduate degree in English Literature from Southern Illinois University Carbondale and completed my teaching certification last year. Before entering education, I spent 15 years working in corporate sales before deciding to pursue a career that aligned more closely with my passions. I truly enjoy building connections with students and helping them grow as readers, writers, and life learners.

Here’s a little bit more about me:

• I grew up in Waukesha, Wisconsin, and most of my family still resides there- yes, I am related to Vince Lombardi.  Go Pack Go!

• I've lived in 3 different states and have traveled to 6 different countries (India, Nepal, Italy, Greece, Guatemala, and Belize) 

• My favorite job is being an Auntie to my three nephews: Vinny (11), Isaac (8), Luke (2)

• I have a BIG and BEAUTIFUL  blended family with my partner and step-son, Avee (18)

• In 2024, we completed our 12-day trek to Mount Everest Base Camp 

Some of my favorite things: COFFEE, reading,  being in nature, playing sports (volleyball/softball), vacationing to Hilton Head Island, cooking and EATING, Hindi movies, animal lover, horseback riding, and spending time with my family.
