Welcome to 6th Grade and Team 6B! I am excited to start my 11th year of being a teacher! I will be teaching math with Mrs. Calixto, Science with Mrs. Marcopulos, Lit. and Comp. with Mrs. Franks, and my own Multilingual Lit. and Comp and Language Arts.  I am married to Chris Hoy, and I have a 13 year old daughter, Virginia, and a 10 year old son, Daniel.  

More Fun Facts About Me:

    I taught French for 7 years before switching to Multilingual support. I lived in France for 2 years before getting my Master's in French Pedagogy. I have several hobbies: dance, crochet, knitting, sewing, painting, board games, reading or audiobooks, podcasts, construction, and gardening. 

I have the pleasure of sponsoring the Dungeons and Dragons Club that meets on various Wednesday depending on our schedules. 

My favorite things are acts of kindness, coffee, chocolate, cats, elephants, science fiction, psychology, stand up comedians, and earrings.
