About Me:

I was born and raised in Bloomington-Normal. I'm entering my 29th year of teaching special education, my 17th year in Unit 5, and 4th year at Evans Junior High. I enjoy seeing my students grow emotionally and academically. 

My favorite things:

I live to travel and have adventure. I admire the buffalo and would love to cuddle one. Most of all, I love and enjoy time with my family.

Here’s a little bit more about me:

• I have run 3 half marathons. 

• My husband teaches at University High School.

• I graduated from Eastern Illinois University.

• I have 3 children: Lynnae, London, and Lincoln.  

• I have a fur baby:  Millie, my sweet dog.
