No Evidence of Learning/Zeros
Learning that hasn’t been submitted will be scored as a zero in the gradebook.
If an assignment is not submitted, it will be given a zero. If the student is absent, a zero will be entered, but that grade will be changed if the student submits the work from the day of their absence immediately upon their return.
Learning that doesn’t demonstrate any moves towards learning (no identifiable growth or evidence) will be scored as a zero on the appropriate rubric row.
Academic dishonesty (including use of AI to produce writing) also constitutes "no evidence of learning" and will receive a zero according to department policy
