The group won a 2,000USD grant to develop their plan for impact. They have also partnered with two orginizations: Litre of Light & Ná Nả. 

Ná Nả works to support communities in Mù Cang Chải, Yên Bái province with resources, education, and community development. Working with Ná Nả, Light up the Night will be able to plan for long-term lighting support for villages in the area - ultimately making nighttime travel safer and community spaces more available.

Liter of Light is a global open-source movement with the aim to provide an ecologically and economically sustainable source of light to underprivileged households that do not have access to electricity or are unable to afford it. Litre of Light is supporting the group in designing the solar-powered lights in both the lamps being sold within our community, as well as the solar-powered lights to be built and installed in Mù Cang Chải, Yên Bái province.
