Mobility

Our network is developing a number of staff and student mobility at all levels. We have create the model of "research tandem", in which two undergraduate students from different countries work as a couple for a joint small research project. They visit each other in their respective countries to collect data, and each one works as a local informant for the colleague, allowing a deeper access to culture and language. The outcome is a joint international publication.

- 5 Bachelor students research tandem from Luxembourg University to ECNU (Cina) in 2018

- 3 Master students research tandem from Aalborg University (Denmark) to UFBA (Brazil), 2019

- Shuangshuang Xu, PhD from ECNU at Aalborg University, 2022, thanks to a CSC Grant

- We are constantly organizing staff mobility between ECNU, Oslo, Salerno, Salvador da Bahia and Luxembourg.

- Our innovative model of student mobility called "research-tandem" has been acknowledged in the project “Research-tandems: an innovative approach to improve students’ research skills”, funded by UTFORSK 2021, Diku – Norwegian Agency for International Cooperation and Quality Enhancement in Higher Education, 2021-2025. The project involves cross-mobility of students between the Department of Special Needs Education, University of Oslo; the graduate program in Psychology, Federal University of Bahia, Brazil; the Department of Education, East China Normal University, China; and the Department of Sociology, University of Kerala, India.
