Description

GRIS is based at the Department of Human, Philosophic and Education Sciences at the University of Salerno. It is the first laboratory in Italy and among the few all over the World, that approaches education and human development from a Cultural Psychology perspective.

It aims at promoting new qualitative methodologies for educational and development psychology and interdisciplinary enrichment in ideas and practices.

GRIS has a clearly defined international and interdisciplinary focus hosting research activity on the interconnection between Cultural Psychology and other Developmental Sciences.

From the 2008 the GRIS is carrying out research activities on social interaction in educational contexts, the notion of Borders and its relationships with development, identity and psycho-social transitions, the formation of scientific concepts in childhood and adolescent well-being.

Partnership

GRIS is part of a wider international research network which includes (among others), India, China, Japan, Brazil, Chile, Argentina, Colombia, Canada, USA, Australia, Estonia, Germany, Spain, Portugal, Serbia, Norway, Denmark, Luxembourg, Austria.

From 2018, GRIS is partner of the Centre of Excellence “Ideas for the Basic Education of the Future
