MAKE IT FUN!

In the Pre-K years, play-based learning is key to your child's development. Allow their natural curiosity to be your guide. For example, a child may see a spider that interests them. Encourage your child in this moment or throughout the day to:

  • Draw the web or the spider

  • Play a made-up bugs game

  • Read spider books together

  • Build a spider web using supplies around the house

  • Figure out how many legs and how the legs of a spider work. This might lead to an investigation of the number of legs of different insects.
