Your child will enter Junior 4 in the fall. Here are some tips to help you prepare.
All items should be clearly labeled. We recommend using name tags such as those found on namebubbles.com.
Your child will need the following supplies in Junior 4:
A school bag large enough to hold lunch box, materials, notebooks (approx. 10” x 12 1/2”) and other items
A refillable/reusable water bottle (Your child will need this every day)
1 canister of Clorox Wipes
1 large bottle of hand sanitizer
2 large boxes of tissues
Headphones to use with a Chromebook. Do not send earbuds. The headphones should be in a large ziplock bag. We recommend purchasing one of the pairs recommended below.
Personal journal. We recommend your child selects a lined book that looks interesting and inviting to them.
10 black erasable pens
6 fine tipped black pens
A pencil case
1 set of markers (at least 12 colors)
1 set of colored pencils (at least 12 colors)
1 pair of blunt tipped scissors
2 24-packs of #2 sharpened pencils
2 pencil sharpeners
4 glue sticks
1 pack of 8-10 Pink Pearl erasers
1 30cm/12in ruler
Please note that oversize backpacks with wheels don't fit into the cubbies.
All supplies need to be labeled with your child’s name and homeroom.
The following supplies are important to keep at home for home study:
A supply of #2 pencils
A supply of erasers

Families will need to complete a Swim Permission Form, before the school year begins, for each JS student in J2, J3 and J4. The form will be shared, along with Class Lists, on August 30.
Please label all jackets, coats, school supplies, water bottles, lunch boxes, athletic gear, etc. with your child’s first and last name and homeroom before they are brought to school.
Students are expected to be accountable for their own possessions and we encourage clear labeling on all of your child's clothing and school supplies (both first and last names and homeroom) including coats, sweatshirts, athletic gear, backpacks, pencil cases, lunch boxes and water bottles. Your reinforcement of this at home with your child is encouraged.
Families should note that:
Unclaimed clothing will be periodically collected and donated by the school
All other items will be discarded
