Welcome Week: second semester!
Sapienza is a public University, so classrooms are open to everybody. No reservation is needed to attend the lectures!
The reservation is only required for doing the exam by accessing the INFOSTUD with your matricola (registration number) and password. The first time you will access the Infostud, you will be asked to change your temporary password with your own ones: please, be sure to choose an easy-to-remember password for you and remember to try accessing your Infostud page soon after your arrival in order to check if it works correctly. In case of any problem, it's better to fix it in advance instead of doing it in a rush during the exams' session.
IMPORTANT: Infostud is ONLY for booking the exam and NOT for attending classes!
You can check the lectures' schedule on your Faculty’s website: https://www.uniroma1.it/it/pagina/facolta
The attendance is not compulsory but it is strongly recommended!
On your personal page there is a link where you can download a little guide for finding courses on our website, but you can follow these steps:
•Step 1: https://corsidilaurea.uniroma1.it or https://corsidilaurea.uniroma1.it/en
•Step 2: select your degree course (IT or EN flag)
•Step 3: “Attendance”
•Step 4: “Orari delle lezioni” on top of the same page.
For any problem, get in contact with the Erasmus office of your Faculty: https://www.uniroma1.it/en/pagina/referenti-amministrativi-erasmus-di-facolta-raef
Check the enclosed documents and video below for more!
Each exam corresponds to a specific amount of credits. 1 CFU corresponds to 25 hours.
Academic calendar: depends on the Faculty but the general one is available at: https://www.uniroma1.it/en/pagina/academic-calendar
Exams' session are in January-February and in June-July.
Exams in Italy are mostly oral exams, unless you're studying in a scientific faculty (like Math, Biology, Engineering...).
Some Professors might request students to attend the lectures in order to pass a mid-term exam and then another (easier) exam during the exams' session: check with your Professors while starting attending the lectures.
Check the enclosed documents below for more!
