Welcome Week: second semester!
Unfortunately, Sapienza does not offer any accommodation to students. Despite this, we offer some services which can help students in finding a proper accommodation, like STURENT or DoveVivo.
An information desk is also available in the University Campus, near the Post Office.

IMPORTANT: check the place where your Faculty is located before renting a flat!

Newspapers
Adverts / Notices (inside the main campus and inside the Faculties you will find some boards where you can search for advertisments of other students looking for a room-mate).
Social networks (some pages)
IMPORTANT: unfortunately Sapienza doesn't offer any accommodation for students and furthermore we usually suggest students NOT to reserve any room from abroad; it's better to meet the landlord before sending any money, but if you really want to rent a room from abroad, we suggest you to get in touch with STURENT or DoveVivo.
STURENT and DoveVivo are the only reliable associations which collaborate with Sapienza. Feel free to arrange payments and reservation with them; there will be no problems.
Anyway, if you couldn't find any suitable accommodation on STURENT, then we suggest you to look for a hostel for the first days of your stay in Rome; this way you will be able both to provide the Embassy with a certificate of accommodation (IF REQUIRED!) and to be hosted in a comfortable place while looking for a permanent accommodation.
If you're interested in a hostel, have a try here: http://www.hostelworld.com/
Please, also carefully read some specific information about comfortable areas to live in Rome:
We are in Piazzale Aldo Moro, 5 .
The fastest way to reach us is by catching the underground (“B” line – the blue one) and get off in Policlinico stop, but you can also catch bus number 3. However , if you could find a a place to stay that's situated in the nearby of any of the station of the underground, that would be great!
Please note that Sapienza is a very huge University and its Faculties are spread all around Rome, then, be sure to understand where your Faculty is located in order to rent an apartment in the nearby!
Check this website in order to get all the information about how to reach out for us: http://www.atac.roma.it/index.asp?lingua=ENG
Insert in the “Route planner” section the name of the street where you’re from (after you'll find a flat of course) and below just write down Viale dell'Università.
Check also this website to understand how the lines of the underground are (and where their stops are located):
